amphibianArc is seeking an Administrative/ Marketing Assistant for daily office duties. A successful candidate will be highly organized, have good communication skills, be attentive to detail, be able to multi-task and flexible.

Responsibilities (not be limited to):

Office bookkeeping
Manage principal’s daily meeting schedule and travel itinerary
Answer phones, filing, general errands, order office supplies
Perform general clerical duties including and not limited to printing, copying, faxing and mailing
Be proactive in all aspects of work including running errands & supporting the design and marketing team
Assist the project team for project delivery, billing, and relevant matters.
Assist marketing team for marketing material preparation, event organization and potential client interface.

Requirements:

QuickBooks knowledge and experience is a must
Strong MS Office skills (Word & Excel) is a must, excellent working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
1-3 years administrative experience in A/E/C industry is preferable
AA/Bachelor’s degree required, major in arts, architecture or marketing is preferable.

The rapidly growing office is seeking a Project Architect for the headquarters office in Los Angeles.

Required education and work experience:

Professional degree in Architecture; architectural license is preferred.

At least 10 years experience in all phases of design;

Experience in leading or participating in the design of institutional, offices, residential and large mixed-use retail projects;

Required knowledge and skills:

A passion for architecture, excellent scheme creation and architectural creative capability, with a keen intellect and active mind.

Expertise in design organization/management and the ability to accurately comprehend the project and the client’s demand, with good communication and coordination skills.

Knowledgeable in materials and methods of construction.

Strong skills in AutoCAD skills and Rhino, proficiency in Revit modeling skills is referred

Self-motivated, team-oriented and adaptable to a fast paced environment.

amphibianArc is seeking an Intermediate Designer for our fast growing Los Angeles Office. The candidate should have 5-7 years’ professional experience primarily in commercial, retail, and/or institutional work.  Prior working experience in Chinese project is preferred.

Required education and work experience:

An MArch or BArch from an accredited architectural program

5 – 7 year experience in all phases of design

Required knowledge and skills:

Knowledge of building systems, international building code and related knowledge for plan check

Knowledgeable in materials and methods of construction

Knowledge of international project is a plus

Excellent design skills, and the ability to convey ideas well in various media

Strong skills in AutoCAD skills and Rhino, proficiency in Revit modeling skills is preferred

Self-motivated, team-oriented and adaptable to a fast paced environment

Project Manager responsibilities:

To identify client expectations and preferred method of communication

To get things done, take on challenges and accomplish objectives

To take charge and provide guidance and direction for project team

To manage client relationships

To carry out the project within the scope of services, schedule and budget

To manage and develop staffs.

Required education and work experience:

Professional degree in Architecture

8+years experience of producing and managing project through all phases

Required knowledge and skills:

Extensive knowledge of building systems, international building code and related knowledge for plan check

Knowledge of international large scale mixed use project is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Mandarin Chinese speaker preferred

Proficient in Auto CAD, familiar with Rhino, Maya, 3d max and other 3d modeling program, experience in Revit is a plus

Self-motivated, team-oriented and adaptable to a fast paced environment

Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Licensure is preferred
